Tree Layers Collection - Art

This is the story of grieving for the loss of a dead tree. The layers within the images are my interpretation of the rings of the tree denoting age, like looking back over its life. Each image depicts a stage or season in the life of the tree until finally the tree is no more but is reborn through the saplings that spring up from its acorns.
